Komen for the Cure
Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.
Pop Warner
Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer & dance programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around the world. With approximately 425,000 young people, Pop Warner is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the world. Pop Warner was founded in 1929, continues to grow and serves as the only youth football, cheerleading & dance organization that requires its participants to maintain academic standards in order to participate.
PTO Today
Founded in 1999, PTO Today quickly established itself at the center of the school parent group world (PTOs and PTAs) as both a valuable resource and trusted voice. PTO Today is dedicated exclusively to providing a full suite of products, programs and services to the entire K-8 school parent group community. Regardless of the acronym (PTO or PTA), PTO Today is committed to helping parent group leaders serve their schools more effectively and run groups more efficiently.
DECA
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges. With over a 60 year history, DECA has touched the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals since it was founded in 1946. DECA enhances the preparation for college and careers by providing co-curricular programs that integrate into classroom instruction, applying learning in the context of business, connecting to business and the community and promoting competition.
NABCA
The North American Booster Club Association (NABCA) is the first of its kind, dedicated to providing booster clubs throughout North America with the highest level of guidance, education, training and support. NABCA is for booster clubs and the parents, volunteers, school administrators, program directors, coaches and business leaders who support the extracurricular programs endorsed by booster clubs. NABCA is the premier association dedicated to supporting all booster clubs - school and non-school based.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities. The Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded in 1980 after a little boy named Chris Greicius realized his wish to become a police officer. Since its beginnings, the organization has blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon, reaching more than 250,000 children around the world.
NISCA
The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) is a volunteer organization founded in 1934 by a group of high school swim coaches. It has become a 1500+ member organization dedicated to the advancement of coach education and athlete recognition for all Interscholastic Aquatic Sports (Swimming, Diving, Water Polo). Their mission is to promote education and also provide recognition to high school aquatic athletes through the All America Awards program.
YFBCA
Founded in 2008, the Youth Football Coaches Association (YFBCA) is made up of members of the youth football coaching community coming together to join resources and support the core fundamentals for teaching youth football. Coaches, parents and young athletes can visit YFBCA for information that will allow them to run a successful youth football program. It is also a place to share stories and connect with others involved in youth football around the country. It is the goal of YFBCA to collect resources and promote a positive environment for youth football.
FBLA
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) education association with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is one of its four divisions and is focused on high school students. FBLA-PBL is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, and organized on local, state, and national levels.
FCCLA
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a nonprofit national organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private school through grade 12. FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities. Over 205,000 members in nearly 6,500 chapters are active in associations in 50 states.
National Soccer Coaches Association of America
Based in Kansas City, Kan., the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) is the largest soccer coaches' organization in the world. Since its founding in 1941, it has grown to include more than 30,000 members who coach both genders at all levels of the sport. In addition to a national rankings program for colleges and high schools, NSCAA offers an extensive recognition program that presents nearly 10,000 individual awards every year.
